What a great afternoon at Arroyo Elementary’s first Ripple Kids Fair! Ethan, his buddy Quinn, and Caleb sold ECBC merchandise for the first time to help build awareness in the community about our efforts to build a library program at CHOC. Ethan is so proud to be wearing his shirt — which makes all the difficulty of trying to start this up while still in active treatment completely worthwhile. Susie, the owner of our terrific local bookstore Once Upon a Storybook, brought books to our booth for people to purchase to donate — we are so grateful for our partnership with Susie. Maddy and her friend Ciara, as well as Avery, Sophie H., Colin H., and Sophie L. also made items to sell at the fair and are donating their proceeds to ECBC. Thank you friends for all your support, we’re so grateful for it as we’re trying to get Phase 1 of the program off the ground!
Here’s Ethan’s Daily Book Look #112, Otis (by Loren Long). If you’re interested in donating and helping build a library at CHOC Children’s Hospital, you can go to ourWish List on Amazon.com. Items purchased from this list will be sent directly to Ethan & Choco’s Book Club.

We just arrived back in town after being gone for a week, and Ethan was so thrilled to come home to so many packages from Amazon (see the photo!). The packages amounted to 72 books in all, most of which came from Dartmouth College classmates. Thank you so much Dartmouth friends for your support!

Thank you to all of our book donors for the month of March! We still need many more books to get phase 1 off the ground and going in the hospital, so please consider donating a book if you haven’t already. Here’s Ethan’s Daily
