Ethan’s Ten Thrive Titles for April and May (& March / April Thank Yous)

In this video, Ethan thanks our most substantial donors in the months of March and April. We had so many wonderful donations during these months that it’s impossible to highlight just a few here, so please check out this video to hear Ethan’s thank you’s. Most notably, we are exceptionally grateful to author Alane Adams’ Rise Up Foundation for stepping up to be the Title Sponsor for our upcoming inaugural charity run. THANK YOU RISE UP FOR HELPING US TO ENSURE THAT WE BREAK EVEN AND IN FACT MAKE THIS EVENT A SUCCESS!!

In part 2 of this video, Ethan shares his lists of Ten Thrive Titles (TTT) for April and May 2018 — which are his specially curated lists of books that are needed for his Read+Think+Thrive Boxes for kids diagnosed with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses. The lists shared here are the books needed for book boxes for early elementary grade girls and for upper elementary grade boys. Books can be purchased and sent directly to Ethan & Choco’s Book Club by clicking on the links to our wish lists on Amazon (click here for the list for early elementary grade girls and click here for the list for upper elementary grade boys). Or, $100 can be donated via our BOOK IT! charity run registration site, which will fund an entire Read+Think+Thrive Box with art supplies for a child at CHOC.

Thank you for helping ECBC reach our goal of providing a book box to every new cancer diagnosis at CHOC Children’s Hospital!

Please keep in mind that we will ALWAYS need hardcover and paperback books for our permanent Lending Library and our special situations (including patients in isolation) Gifting Libraries at CHOC. The link to our General Wish List for our hospital libraries is ECBC’s General Wish List

  1. I am the President of a Woman’s Club. I would like to send a check to Ethan & Choco’s Book Club – I cannot find an address to send the check anywhere on your website. It has to come by US Postal mail – not an electronic donation. Help

    • WOW, thank you so much Connie!!
      The address is:
      Ethan & Choco’s Book Club
      11451 Plantero Drive
      Santa Ana, CA 92705

The check needs to be made out to “MaxLove Project”, with “Ethan & Choco’s Book Club” on the memo line at the bottom of the check. (MaxLove Project is currently our parent organization for 501c3 purposes…our next step after our upcoming fundraiser is to work on incorporating).
THANK YOU, I appreciate your support SO much!
      Ali

    • Hi Connie. I have not been on this blog for so long…I am so sorry that I am just reading your comment now. I just returned to the blog to write a quick update post since today marks ethan’s 6 months since he finished chemo — and I found your post. If your Women’s Club is still interested in making a donation, the check needs to be made out to “MaxLove Project”, which is our parent organization and how we receive 501c3 status for the time being, and on the memo line you write “Ethan & Choco’s Book Club. Our address is 11451 Plantero Drive, Santa Ana, CA 92705. If it is too late, I understand. Thank you so much for reaching out. Sincerely, Ali POsner
